RESOLUTION No. 9385

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines, the Omnibus Election Code (B.P. Blg. 881), Republic Acts No. 6646, 7166, 8189, 8436, 9189, 9369, and other election laws, the Commission on Elections RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to prescribe the following calendar of activities and period of certain prohibited acts in connection with the May 13, 2013 national and local elections.

Supreme Court orders COMELEC to answer bid vs PCOS deal

THE Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to file its comment to one of three petitions filed by various parties questioning the COMELEC's purchase of P1.8 billion worth of voting machines that were used during the 2010 elections.
